Nicki Minaj gave her millions of fans a glimpse of her upcoming collaboration with Italian fashion house, Fendi, which will be available next month
Not long after announcing her retirement from music, which left her legion of fans floored, the megatron hit-maker shared great news to fashion lovers, that her collaboration with Fendi will soon be available online. The campaign, photographed by Steve Klein, shows the rapper in apparel branded with the Fendi logo imprint. “Here’s a sneak peek of just a taste of what’s to come,” she captioned her Instagram posts, which saw comments of praise from celebrities like Kim Kardashian and P Diddy.
According to WWD, the collaboration made sense as the rapper is close to the fashion house. “For a long time we’ve wanted to do something together and we’ve been busy following up on what Karl wanted to do with us, such as the couture show in Rome. She is a great artist and one of the best rappers. Fendi shares great affinity with her. She represents one of Fendi’s dimensions, the fun aspect of the brand and she will present it extremely well,” Fendi’s chairman and chief executive officer Serge Brunschwig said.
The collection, called “Fendi Prints On”, will be available online on October 14.
