30-year-old mega artist, AKA made a heartfelt announcement on social media that his album has gone platinum, thanking his fans and everyone who was a part of his success journey over the past ten years. In the post, he credits consistency and fans for his career milestone. He shared, “Consistency is everything in this game … I remember when I started working on this album I wasn’t sure what I wanted people to hear me talk about or how I wanted to sound. As time went on I realized that I needed to go deeper than I ever had. This album took so much out of me. I had always maintained that this would be my best work. It is so gratifying to have this happen TEN YEARS after I dropped my first single; for those who don’t remember, it was called “Do it” … Thank You to my fans, The Megacy, for making my dreams come true.
