The Queen of slaying, Bonang Matheba has added to her impressive CV an alcohol brand to her name, House of BNG, which she launched on 18 March 2019
Known to her legion of fans as Queen B, Bonang is showing no signs of slowing down any time soon. In her list of achievements, the media personality and businesswoman has added a Brut and Brut Rosé Méthode Cap Classiques (MCCs), which she officially launched in Johannesburg on 18 March 2019. Basically, an MCCs is South Africa’s equivalent of champagne and the term refers to local sparkling wines that are made in the traditional French method.
Bonang is quoted saying, “The House of BNG has been a passion project of mine for a long time. It’s no secret that champagne is my favourite drink, so getting the chance to make my own MCC was an opportunity I couldn’t miss out on,”.

She further stated that since South Africa produces some of the world’s best grapes she decided to collaborate with Cape wine master, Jeff Grier to make a Méthode Cap Classique wine instead of a campaign, using grapes.
The House of BNG Brut and Brut Rosé will be available exclusively at select Woolworths stores nationwide and on Woolworths online, retailing at R399.00.
