54-year-old Viola Davis is a force to be reckoned with in Hollywood. Now, she has added beauty ambassador to her impressive CV. We reflect on some of her success tips
Viola Davis is a formidable actress, who has taken home an Oscar, an Emmy and a Tony award, and news says she is the first black actress to do so. With that said, it was recently announced that Davis would join the likes of award-winning singer, Celine Dion to be the face of L’Oréal. About the milestone the actress said, “As a young girl, I wasn’t always told that I was smart, beautiful or worthy. I worked tremendously hard to get where I am today – overcoming feelings of doubt to become a woman who truly believes I am ‘worth it’ in every way. I believe it’s so important to build confidence in women from a young age, and to role model diverse perspectives of beauty. To now be a part of a brand that has been championing women’s worth for more than 40 years and to use my voice to help empower others is truly surreal,” she said of the new campaign.
