While it might be a blue Monday for others, make this the best day to create the best and most productive week yet. We show you four ways to do that

Success is a subjective term. How you define it will help you focus on strategies you need to make to tick off all the goals you have set this year. No matter the day, what’s important is for you to start where you are and with what you have. Mondays, are usually a start to our hustle and how you approach this day sets the tone to the rest of your week. Here’s how to make Monday and the rest of your week the best ever, for yourself:

Show gratitude: In life, there’s always something to be thankful for. Find something to show gratitude for when you wake up, life itself, your dreams, your ambitions, the people who push you to succeed, your friends, the job you have, the clothes on your back, roof over your head.

Make a list of all your to-do list: If you have an ultimate goal to reach, either to get a job or build a business, make a list of things to do to reach it. Prioritise the important activities you want to get out of the way and tackle those first. Even if it’s one goal that you know you will certainly achieve, prioritise it and discipline yourself to complete it.

Don’t take time for granted: There’s a lot that can be done in 24 hours if you use your time wisely. It might be old-fashioned of me, but I usually write down all the activities I have to do in my daily planner. If you are working a full-time job and have a side hustle or studying on the side, you might have to plan wisely and even invest two extra hours in your day to get things done.

Dedicate some time to yourself: With demanding careers and family commitments, it might seem impossible to take good care of ourselves. But it’s important to spend quality time with yourself every day. 30 minutes to do what you want, either a long bubble bath, or to meditate will make all the difference in the world to keep you sane, and happy.

Do you follow certain traditions to make your week productive? What are they?
