Tributes pour in on social media as Jabulani Tsambo, better known by his stage name as Hip Hop Panstula had died this afternoon (24 October 2018)
South Africa was almost at a standstill following the announcement of the death of HHP. According to TimesLive, HHP’s wife and publicist Lerato Sengadi confirmed that her husband died around 12 pm on Wednesday. ‘Yes, yes, it’s true. I am with the family at the moment,’ she said. This sad news comes in during mental awareness month, as HHP had also opened up about his battle with depression. The late hip-hop star revealed that he attempted suicide three times in 2015 and that he visited a website to get information on how to end his life. The star who was close to Skwatta Kamp’s Flabba took to his Instagram page a few days ago how much he missed his friend. Flabba was stabbed to death in 2015 by his girlfriend following an altercation. The cause of HHP’s death is yet to be announced. People took to twitter their grievance following his death:

An absolute tragedy. Rest in peace Jabba. Rest, and have peace in your soul. Sending love to Lerato and his family.
Depression kills people. Take mental health seriously.
