Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) and his team are back with more gripping action in the new instalment of Mission Impossible, to save the world. Are you ready for action?

One thing the sixth installment of Mission Impossible guarantees is a lot of action, fist fights, drama, risk- of- losing- limb stunts, double-crossing, helicopter chases and a great storyline. Released on 27 July 2018, in South Africa, the much loved undercover heroes of Mission Impossible are back, and this time the drama intensifies as they have to save the world from a fresh nuclear threat, under the watchful eye of CIA’s agent Walker (Henry Cavill). Written and directed by Christopher McQuarrie, minimal dialogue is needed as the action makes up for it. It’s clear that IMF agent Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) has become more vulnerable as we see snippets of how his love life suffered as a result of choosing to save the world. The plot? Arms dealer John Lark and a group of terrorists known as the Apostles plan to use three plutonium cores for a simultaneous nuclear attack on the Vatican, Jerusalem and Mecca, Saudi Arabia. When the weapons go missing, Ethan and his crew find themselves in a desperate race against time to prevent them from falling into the wrong hands. Ethan is much older and has been through a lot, physically and emotionally, but he shows no sign of slowing down. With everything and everyone that he’s ever cared about on the line, Hunt shows why he’s the world’s most loved action hero. It already raked in more than $124 million, two weeks after its release- in the US alone. One thing he and team have been promising since the beginning: nothing is impossible.

Have you seen the film? What do you think of it?
