Ingredients:
110g butter
110g caster sugar
110g golden syrup
225g self-raising flour, plus extra for dusting
2 teaspoons ground ginger
Method:
Preheat the oven to 180C and grease a baking tray.
Cream the butter, caster sugar and golden syrup. Add all of the dry ingredients and combine to make a dough.
Roll the dough into golf size balls. Place these individual balls onto the greased baking tray with enough room between each biscuit to allow them to spread during cooking. Mark the top of each ball with a fork. The dough should make about 30 biscuits.
Bake for 10 minutes till the biscuits are golden brown.
Remove from the oven, leave to cool and Bon Appetit!
