Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion just dropped the music video for their collaboration, WAP. Celebrities including Kylie Jenner and Normai make an appearance
The rappers released the music video for their highly anticipated collaboration, WAP, on Friday on August 7. The collaboration comes months after Stallion teamed up with Beyoncé for a remix of her hit “Savage.” The recent collaboration also comes after Megan was shot on both feet on July 12, an incident she described as the worst experience of her life.
The music video is an expected fun, over-the-top, naughty and fashion statement of the rappers and their celebrity friends who appear in the video. I guess it’s a match made in hip-hop heaven.
Megan is also a big defender of the well-being and success of other female rappers, adding that women experience the double standard of comparison when their male counterparts don’t and that there’s room for everybody.
Meanwhile, Cardi B took to Twitter on the same day of the music premiere to thank her fans and other fellow celebrities for supporting of the video, which already sits at 67 million views since its release.
